What you don't see is often more important than what you see. Wood remains subject to varying temperatures and humidity and continually moves long after leaving its forest home. The methods used to assemble the components of a piece must consider the nature of the materials to accomodate their characteristics. These "joinery techniques" are seldom seen once the piece is complete. The photos in this section show our methods.
We adhere to age old techniques and improved methods of joinery, aided by the latest tool technology to construct items that will stand the test of time. Dovetails, mortise and tenons and biscuit joints are used in the construction of cabinets, built-in furniture, custom doors and windows, interior casings and molding trim.
